On Friday, Feb. 14, former John F. Kennedy High School standout Trinity Jones Estrada’s current college team, the Northern Illinois Huskies, won 4-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Central Arkansas Bears.
The game took place at Lamson Park. This was their first matchup against the Bears this season.
The Huskies’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 4:30 p.m. at Lamson Park against Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The upcoming week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature these former North San Fernando Valley area high school athletes.
