On Thursday, March 20, former Bishop Alemany High School standout Kate Hackney’s current collegiate team the Smith Pioneers won 49-47 against the UW – Oshkosh Titans in the NCAA Division III Basketball Championship Tournament.
Hosted in Cregger Center, this was the first game against the UW – Oshkosh Titans during the championship.
The Smith Pioneers’ next game will take place on Saturday, March 22 at 4 p.m. in Cregger Center against NYU Violets.
Kate Hackney’s hometown is Thousand Oaks and game position is guard.
