On Saturday, Feb. 15, former John F. Kennedy High School standout Trinity Jones Estrada’s current college team, the Northern Illinois Huskies, lost 1-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Sam Houston State Bearkats.
The game took place at Lamson Park. This was their first matchup against the Bearkats this season.
The Huskies’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 16 at 9:10 a.m. at Lamson Park against Ole Miss Rebels.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The upcoming week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature these former North San Fernando Valley area high school athletes.
