On Friday, March 21, former Cesar E. Chavez Learning Academies-Academy of Scientific Exploration (ase) standout Jizzell Ruiz’s current college team, the Cal State Northridge Matadors, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Long Beach State Beach.

The game took place at Matador Diamond. This was their first matchup against the Beach this season.

The Matadors’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 3:30 p.m. at Matador Diamond against Long Beach State Beach.
